Vehicle Assembler
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Assembler to join our dynamic team at Atlas Auto Limited. In this full-time position based in Hamilton Central, the vehicle assembler must have experience in automotive assembling/dismantling, and trimming. The right candidate must have vehicle-related experience. If you do not have experience in the Vehicle industry, please do not apply.
This job is a technical job that requires 3 years’ experience and knowledge in: Interiors of the vehicle (able to dismantle and assemble according to the specifications of a car).
Pay, work hours, and work location:
· $30.00 - $35.00 Per Hour | Weekly Pay
· Working hours: Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
· Based in Hamilton | Full-time permanent position
In this role, you will be part of a close-knit team that works hard but also knows how to have a laugh!
The right candidate must know the following:
How to open the vehicle parts, remove the battery of the vehicle without damage to components, spillage of acid, and arcing at terminals.
How to allow access to the underneath areas of the engine while following health and safety requirements.
How to disconnect the controls from the engine while using the correct tools.
How to handle the vehicle engine, and how the transmission oils are drained, collected, and disposed of, and the air conditioning refrigerant removed/recovered.
How the driveshafts are removed from the transmission.
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience in vehicle assembling/dismantling/trimming.
· Must have experience in engine and transmission assembly, without damage to parts.
· Must have experience with the exhaust system, gear linkage, air cleaner or filter, fuel system controls, electrical connections, vacuum hoses, clutch controls, water hoses, oil cooler hoses, power steering, and air conditioning systems.
· Must have experience in disassembling and assembling vehicle parts and altering the dysfunctional parts.
· Able to weld/cut and shape the dismantled vehicle parts.
· Able to do the wiring of the dismantled parts of the vehicles and have knowledge of each vehicle component to be able to handle that correctly.

- Strong initiative and ability to follow directions
