Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
We're looking for a Workplace Support Officer to deliver professional support and services to NZTA Waka Kotahi staff. In this role, you'll provide day-to-day building and workplace facilities support, fleet vehicle support, and facilities security and health & safety services-contributing to the smooth running of our organisation and the delivery of great outcomes for Aotearoa.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining a high standard of core building and office facilities
- Completing workplace requests, and provide first level site support including digital support
- Supporting site health and safety, including site inductions and orientations
- Supporting our office security procedures and processes
- Supporting day to day fleet management
- Providing professional visitor management services
- Contribute to continuous business process improvement

To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Experience in a similar role and strong customer service skills
- A clean NZ driver license and confidence with driving a rangeof passenger vehicles
- Excellent communication, and strong Microsoft Office and computer skills with technical problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritise, and thrive in a fast paced environment
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team and take accountability for self-development
You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Maori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Maori. You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of Te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public service.
