We are seeking three motivated and dedicated team members to join our team at SteelServ as Utility Operators.
SteelServ provides specialist transport and processing services to meet New Zealand Steel’s range of requirements and operations.
About the role
This is a permanent, 8-hour day shift role based at New Zealand Steel in Glenbrook. You will work under the direction of our operations Management team, where you will be expected to be agile and responsive to our customers’ needs.
What will you bring
We need people who pay attention to detail, have a strong work ethic, and work well under pressure. You must have the ability to work autonomously and be physically fit. Previous work experience in any trade would be advantageous.
You will have an uncompromising attitude and strong commitment to health and safety.
Along with the above, you will have a current New Zealand driver's license.
It would be an advantage, but not essential, to have experience in any of the following areas:
- Heavy Mobile Plant Operations – Loader / Excavator
- Truck Driving – Water Cart
- Forklift Operation
