We have an exciting opportunity with a well-established client based in Tauranga who is looking for a passionate and skilled Baker to join their team!
Qualifications & Experience:
NZQA Level 4 Certificate in Baking, or
A minimum of 2 years’ proven experience working as a Baker in a commercial setting
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing and baking bread, pastries, cakes, and other bakery items to a high standard
Measuring, mixing, and shaping dough according to recipes and specifications
Monitoring baking processes to ensure consistent quality and presentation
Maintaining a clean, organised, and hygienic work environment
Following food safety and workplace health and safety guidelines
Managing stock levels and ordering ingredients when necessary
Working independently and as part of a team to meet daily production targets
