Are you passionate about Nursing and Education. We are seeking dedicated nursing lecturers/Academic Staff Members to join the nursing team and teach the Bachelor of Nursing Degree at NMIT in Marlborough.
- We are looking for passionate individuals with a focus on teaching Health education throughout the the 3 year curriculum.
You'll be part of a collaborative nursing and support team, working together to motivate and empower students on their Bachelor of Nursing Education pathway. If you're passionate about education and want to make a meaningful impact, we'd love to hear from you!
The key responsibilities for the role are:
- Extensive Nursing knowledge
- Highly developed communication, organizational, and planning skill's
- A student-focused teaching approach that engages and inspires learners
- The ability to adapt teaching styles to meet diverse learning needs
- A supportive and inclusive attitude, fostering a positive learning environment

- Experience in curriculum development and tertiary teaching
About you / He kōrero mōu
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Registered Nurse with a current APC
- Teaching Certificate (or willingness to complete)
- Minimum 5 years clinical experience
- Previous education experience, either in tertiary education or similar
- Masters degree in Nursing or working towards.
