Job Description
Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
This is a dynamic and people-focused role where you’ll work closely with students' clubs, helping them connect with the wider University and supporting their leadership journeys. You won’t be working in a silo — this is a highly collaborative environment where your input will directly contribute to student success and community building.
You'll support over 250 student clubs across categories like cultural, academic & specialist, religious & spiritual, sports & rec, and causes.
Main responsibilities include:
- Administration around club operations such as grants, registration, and new club applications
- Helping coordinate student-led events
- Drop-in session support for room bookings, equipment bookings, and general queries
- Assisting with access to services and resources
- Advising on governance and financial regulations
- Providing general support and guidance to student groups
- Event support for major student events such as Clubs Expo, training sessions, and the Club Awards
This is a permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week) opportunity.
The Band C role, salary range for this role is $54, 405 – $61,700 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.
