About the role

 

The Policy Advisor plays a key role in shaping high-quality policy recommendations from the Strategy, Policy & International Engagement unit for both the Civil Aviation Authority and external stakeholders.

 

The Policy Advisor works closely with the Senior Advisors and across the wider Regulatory Policy and International Engagement teams to support the delivery of regulatory policy and rule development, and to support the CAA’s engagement with international partners.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

Some national and international travel may be required.

 

The role is based at our National Office in Wellington.

 

The salary band for this position starts at $83,600 to a maximum of $102,302. Starting salaries are based on knowledge, skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the role, as well as internal relativities.
