Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Architect with experience in kitchen design, interior layout planning, and landscape design. This role involves working closely with our design and production teams to transform client visions into reality across residential projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen and interior spaces
- Develop site-specific landscape concepts to complement home designs
- Prepare accurate architectural drawings and 2D/3D presentations
- Conduct on-site measurements and consultations with clients
- Collaborate with project managers, cabinet makers, and installers
- Ensure designs comply with New Zealand building standards
- Coordinate with suppliers and contractors for design execution
Skills & Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in architecture, interior, or landscape design
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar design software
- Strong understanding of kitchen ergonomics, spatial planning, and materials
- Ability to visualise and communicate design concepts clearly
- Detail-oriented, with excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
- Knowledge of NZ construction and compliance standards is an advantage
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field
- Prior experience in kitchen manufacturing or renovation environments
