About The Role
Our Asset Maintenance Operators are skilled all-rounders who help keep public spaces in great condition. Using your experience in building, maintenance, or handy work, you’ll handle daily callouts to repair council assets and may involve fixing picnic tables, repairing fences, installing signs, and so much more!
What We're Looking For
- You'll have strong expertise in carpentry, concreting, machinery operation, or general handyperson skills
- A current full driver’s licence with the ability to drive a manual vehicle
- Proven experience in managing projects, including planning, execution, and client communication
- Highly self-motivated with a strong work ethic, able to work independently when required, but always supported by the team for larger tasks
- Physically fit, with the ability to handle occasional heavy lifting or strenuous tasks
- A commitment to delivering high-quality work, understanding the importance of maintaining high standards for those who rely on us
