Due to an internal promotion, we currently have an opportunity for an Accountant to join our high-performing finance team.
The role involves
- Financial Accounting; Facilitate the management of the financial operating systems, daily transaction processes and month end processes to ensure the production of timely and accurate management reports.
- Prepare monthly financial management reports.
- Prepare the year-end accounts to adhere to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Ensure tax return preparation and other government agency compliances.
- Annual Budgeting; assist in annual budgeting and seasonal forecast processes and policies. Fixed Asset register; maintenance of the fixed asset register
- Audits and Assurance: liaise with external audits and complete internal audits as required.
The ideal applicant will have the following:
- Business degree with a major in accounting
- Experience using Xtracta, Dynamics 365 Microsoft Business Central and Approval+
- CA ANZ qualification (or equivalent), or study towards those qualifications.
- 2-3 years experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- A self-starter who shows initiative
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines No agencies please
