Barista / Coffee Caravan Operator - Maternity Leave Cover

Wild Moon is a boutique coffee and açaí bowl caravan based in Kohimarama, known for serving quality coffee, refreshing açaí bowls, and great vibes by the beach. With our owner going on maternity leave, we’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic person to join our team.
The Role
This is a hands-on role that involves:
- Working alongside another team member in our busy coffee caravan
- Collecting the Wild Moon caravan and transporting it to our location (ideal if you have a car to tow)
- Setting up, operating, and packing down the caravan
- Making barista-quality coffee
- Preparing açaí bowls and serving customers
- Providing friendly and efficient customer service
- Assisting with stock pick-ups outside of trading hours
Hours
- 1–2 days per weekend
- Approximately 7am – 3pm
- Additional hours for stock pick-up as needed
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Experienced as a barista (preferred, but training can be provided for the right person)
- Confident and reliable, with great customer service skills
- Comfortable working as part of a small, supportive team
- Full driver’s licence required
- Ideally has access to a vehicle suitable for towing
- Friendly, hardworking, and enjoys being part of a positive, community-focused business

Pay: $27.00 – $32.00 per hour
