We’re now looking for a Bid Estimator to join our commercial team in Auckland, playing a key role in shaping winning proposals that drive growth and retention.
What you’ll do:
As our Bid Estimator, you’ll be responsible for delivering innovative, accurate, and competitive costing solutions across single and multi-service proposals. You’ll collaborate with Key Account Managers, Heads of Service, and commercial teams to:
- Develop comprehensive costing and solution documents, including site visits to identify key cost drivers.
- Analyse operational data to optimise contracts and suggest improvements.
- Support benchmarking, market analysis, and RFP submissions to ensure ISS stands out in the market.
- Lead contract optimisation efforts, recommending actionable improvements to service delivery and profitability.
- Promote a safety-first, inclusive, and collaborative culture within the team.
Who you are:
- Experienced in service provision with strong hands-on exposure to operational environments, ideally across multiple service lines.
- Commercially astute with advanced numerical and analytical skills, including extensive Excel, Power BI, or Tableau experience.
- Skilled in project and change management, with a proven track record of leading initiatives that improve operational efficiency and profitability.
- Experienced in costing, bid management, or commercial support roles, ideally within large or matrix organisations.
- Strong communicator and collaborator, able to build relationships with diverse stakeholders, including clients, operational teams, and leadership.
- Self-motivated, structured, systematic, and able to turn complex data into actionable insights and solutions.
- Knowledgeable about contract optimisation, benchmarking, and P&L fundamentals to support decision-making.
