Bhogal Limited, a courier services provider, is looking for a Business Manager to join their team in Hamilton, Waikato.
Key Responsibilities:
- Control and manage daily courier operations to ensure timely, efficient, and reliable deliveries.
- Plan delivery schedules and optimise routes to improve operational efficiency and meet customer expectations.
- Recruit, train, and supervise delivery drivers and support staff to maintain high service standards.
- Monitor vehicle maintenance and ensure the fleet complies with all road safety and regulatory requirements.
- Manage operational budgets, fuel usage, and other running costs to support business profitability.
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and transport industry standards.
- Handle delivery-related issues, customer complaints, and operational delays in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor service quality and delivery performance.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, and external partners.
- Utilise logistics and transport management software for route planning, real-time tracking, and operational reporting.
- Prepare operational and financial performance reports for review by senior management.
- Perform other relevant tasks as needed to support the overall effectiveness of the transport operations.
Required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week and you will be paid between $32 to $40 per hour.
Requirements for the role:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the logistics industry (Preferably in courier operations).
- Available to work on weekends
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others
- Excellent coordination and time management abilities
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic environment
