About the Role
As a part time Clinical Coordinator, you will work alongside the existing Clinical Coordinator to lead the referral, triage and allocation process and work in conjunction with the leadership team to develop the service. This position provides variety and the opportunity to develop not only leadership skills, but also skills that cross traditional disciplinary boundaries by adopting an interprofessional approach. This role can be combined with an existing full or part time role to learn the ropes of Clinical Coordination.

About you
Clinical experience and sound clinical reasoning are two key aspects to this role, and we also need the right person to bring out the best in our teams and service. Therefore, we are seeking someone who has enthusiasm, maturity, emotional intelligence, relationship building, and leadership skills.
You will also need the following key attributes and skills:
- New Zealand registration and current Annual Practising Certificate (APC) in an Allied Health profession (e.g. Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Social Work, SLT, Dietetics).
- At least 5 years’ clinical experience, with 2+ years in a relevant specialty.
- Leadership or coordination experience within an Allied Health or interprofessional team.
- Proven ability to drive service, quality, and/or process improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, solutions-focused attitude.
