About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a permanent full-time Clinical Unit Administration position within our Perioperative Department at Whakatāne Hospital.
In this role you will be an efficient administrator who will be able to respond effectively to general enquiries and maintain good relationships with clinical and non-clinical staff and most importantly patients. To be successful in this position your will need to be able to work in a changing environment, have the ability to meet deadlines and have excellent customer service skills.

About you
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with excellent phone manner
- The ability to prioritise and work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and high-quality workmanship
- Well-developed computer skills – be able to learn software skills related to surgical services
- A positive and flexible attitude and a sense of humour
- Ideally you will have working knowledge of Webpas, MCP, Microsoft Office, Oracle and Omtrak
- Be familiar with a hospital environment
