Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Azure to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure to support our business applications and services. This is a hands on technical role in a team managing Azure, M365, Intune and Wintel services.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and deploy Azure-based infrastructure solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Implement and manage Azure services including Virtual Machines, App Services, Azure Functions, AKS, and Storage Accounts.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Automate cloud operations and deployments using CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
- Monitor and optimize cloud performance, cost, and security using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Cost Management.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and standards using Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, and Key Vault.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Security, and Application Development.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues and incidents.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Strong understanding of Azure networking, identity, and security components.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
- Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, or AZ-400 are highly desirable.
