RealNZ is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Coach Driver to join our team in Bluff. This role plays a vital part in supporting our Stewart Island Experience (SIE) Ferry Operations by providing safe, comfortable, and informative transport for our guests.
As a Coach Driver, you'll welcome and host passengers with warmth and professionalism, ensuring their journey is smooth and enjoyable. You'll deliver engaging onboard commentary between Invercargill and Bluff, assist with freight and luggage handling, and maintain high standards of vehicle presentation and safety. You'll ensure timely ferry connections, manage fuel needs proactively, and contribute to the overall cleanliness and presentation of our facilities (including wharves, coaches, and vessels). You may also be asked to take on other duties as delegated by your manager.
This could be a part-time shared role, with seasonal hours - dropping to around 30 hours per fortnight during winter. For the right candidate, there may also be opportunities to assist with driving on Stewart Island.
What you'll bring:
- A valid Class 2 Driver's Licence with P Endorsement
- Experience in hosting or guiding, with strong customer service and communication skills
- A proactive, safety-first mindset and attention to detail
- Familiarity with Stewart Island Experience and RealNZ products is a bonus
