Jordan House Limited is seeking a full time (30 hours minimum) cook to work in kitchen in their popular Souvlaki Shop in Christchurch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Checking food items to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Adjusting and monitoring the temperatures of ovens, grills, and other cooking appliances.
- Preparing, cooking, and presenting food dishes.
- Adding Mediterranean specialized seasonings and flavors during the cooking process.
- Storage and stock management.
- Preparing meals tailored to specific dietary needs.
- Assist in planning menus and estimating stock requirements.
Requirements:
- Previous relevant experience for minimum 1 year OR level 4 cookery qualification.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Good time management and teamwork skills
- Payrate for cook will be $25.00 to $28.00 - depending on your skills.
