CARTERS Porirua is seeking a Yardperson/Forklift operator to join their busy customer services team in the Timber Yard.
In this fast-paced and physical role no day is ever the same. Your focus will be on providing exceptional service to our valued customers in a timely, professional and safe manner. Your adaptability and versatility will be key as you will required to pick orders and serve customers in the timber yard, operate a forklift to unload and load customer orders onto delivery trucks.
About you
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Full, Clean NZ Drivers Licence
- Forklift experience, ideally F Endorsed
- A team player with the right attitude.
- A real people person with a natural talent for building trust and rapport with our customers.
- Proven ability to learn systems
- Physically fit for the occasional heavy lifting and manual handling
