Customer Segments and Insights Lead
  • Auckland
  • Full time, Permanent position
Mō te tūranga | About the Role
Play a pivotal role in delivering actionable insights that shape strategy, enhance customer experience, and drive innovation across Institutional and Business Banking (IBB). You’ll translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives and support the development of segmentation models and personas to deepen customer understanding. Working closely with Performance, Reporting and Analytics teams, you’ll design frameworks to track acquisition, retention, satisfaction, and lifetime value—identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
Collaboration is central to this role. You’ll partner with product, marketing, digital, and frontline teams to embed insights into market strategies and pricing. You’ll also lead initiatives that amplify the voice of the customer, ensuring feedback directly informs product and service design across IBB.
Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?
  • 5+ years in customer analytics, strategy, marketing insights, or business intelligence roles—preferably within financial services
  • Demonstrated experience delivering customer segmentation, market analysis, and data-driven strategy that shaped product, marketing, or channel outcomes.
  • Proven track record influencing cross-functional stakeholders, including product, marketing, digital, and executive teams, using insight-driven recommendations.
  • Strong understanding of Institutional and Business Banking will be advantageous.
  • Exposure to customer journey mapping, experience measurement (e.g., NPS), and persona development to guide CX, design, or innovation roadmaps.
  • Passion for amplifying the voice of the customer and embedding feedback into product and service design.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to a range of stakeholders.
