We have multiple opportunities for permanent Customer Compliance Specialist roles across our business segments.
Locations: Auckland (Takapuna & Manukau), Christchurch, Dunedin, Hamilton, Invercargill, Napier, Nelson, New Plymouth, Palmerston North, Tauranga, Upper Hutt, Wellington.
The Opportunity | Ara Whiwhi Mahi
The Customer Compliance Specialist role is instrumental in providing investigative and specialist support to improve customer compliance, and champion IR’s customer-centric and intelligence-led culture.
In this varied role you will:
- Provide customer service across a variety of products both proactively and reactively to improve customer outcomes,
- Use available information and intelligence to understand the customer’s situation, to negotiate (where appropriate) and resolve disputes and compliance issues,
- Use available customer information and insights to resolve compliance issues and disputes,
- Provide tax and social policy technical support and advice to customers to ensure compliance,
- Identify and analyse compliance risk and implement responses to ensure the right business and customer outcomes,
- Prepare case work activity connecting with other internal parties for legal enforcement to support long-term customer compliance
- Work in a networked way across IR and use insights gained to develop solutions for customers.
The hours of work are 75 hours 50 minutes per fortnight to be worked between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday, and the salary range is between $80,277 and $116,079.
