Join ANZCO Foods as our new Cyber Security Lead and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of cyber resilience across our enterprise. Based at our Christchurch Head Office and reporting to the Head of Technology, this newly created permanent role offers a strategic leadership opportunity within a Microsoft-centric environment, supporting a business committed to innovation, sustainability, and excellence.
As Cyber Security Lead, you are part of the technology leadership team, and you will drive the implementation and continuous improvement of ANZCO's cyber security strategy and roadmap. You will lead a dedicated team of information and cyber security analysts, collaborate with senior technology leaders, and be accountable for our cyber security maturity uplift.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the cyber security team and foster a high-performing, collaborative culture.
- Own and drive the implementation of ANZCO's cyber security strategy and roadmap.
- Being a thought leader for cyber & information security management at ANZCO.
- Champion the ongoing cyber & information security user awareness training campaign.
- Working with the Technology team to identify, assess, prioritise and remediate risks in ANZCO's current practices and processes.
- Continuously evaluating the cyber and information security threat landscape to adjust initiatives based on risk assessment.
- Lead internal and external cyber & information security audits identifying vulnerabilities to recommend and implement improvements.
Skills and experience we are looking for:
- A minimum of 4 years working in a similar role with a major company, or more than 5 years in an IT technical role with demonstrated responsibilities for cyber & information security.
- Proven experience leading cyber security initiatives in a complex enterprise environment.
- Deep knowledge of modern cyber security practices and technologies including firewalls, web filtering, endpoint protection, SIEM, vulnerability scanning and reporting.
- Experience in Operational technology (OT) cyber security is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong understanding of best-practice enterprise cyber & information security practices.
- Formal qualifications like CySA+ or CISSP preferred.
- Comfortable being a thought leader, being innovative and leading change.
- Comfortable working directly with business SME's and data owners/stewards.
