We are a growing logistics company based in Queenstown / Otago Region, providing both taxi and courier services. We are currently seeking dedicated and reliable drivers to join our dynamic team.
As a driver, you will be the face of our company, providing exceptional customer service. You will have the opportunity to drive both taxis and courier vans.
Employment Type: Full Time / Permanent
Hourly Pay Rate: NZ$ 25.00 - NZ$ 28.00
Location: Queenstown / Otago Region, New Zealand
Key Responsibilities:
- Transportation of passengers/goods safely and in a timely manner
- Handling cash transactions and electronic payments
- Maintaining a clean, safe and mechanically-sound vehicle at all times
- Adhering to all traffic and company regulations
- Offering excellent customer service and handling customer queries / complaints professionally
- Submitting incident reports when needed
- Performing other related duties as and when required
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Hold a full, clean New Zealand driving licence, or an ability to get one
- If from oustide of New Zealand, must have held a valid driving license for the last 2 years and should be able to convert / upgrade to a New Zealand Driving License
- Hold at least 3 years of work experience in driving or any other customer facing / customer service role / entry level hospitality management role
- Ability to use using mobile apps / computer systems suitable for logistics operations
- Ability to navigate efficiently using smart navigation skills like Google Maps, etc.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Functional level of spoken and written English
- Physically fit and able to lift and carry parcels up to 20kg
