Join our busy Engineering Department at ANZCO Foods in the position of Engineering Planner. This is a permanent full-time position reporting to our Engineering & Site Services Manager at our Canterbury plant on Seafield Road, Ashburton.
The purpose of this position is to manage planning and scheduling of preventative, predicative and corrective maintenance programmes. Development and implementation of work order flow management standards. Work scopes and estimates including labour, material, equipment and service requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the weekly forecasting plan is available on time
- Distribution of weekly forecasting work packs on time
- Running and distributing reports required for effective planning and scheduling
- Preparing shutdown plans for the process areas (Minor routine & Major for shut )
- Conducting/Coordinating planning meetings
- Conducting/Coordinating briefing sessions
- Full utilisation of resources for maintenance work
- Providing reports as required for internal and external customers
- Planning the functions of the maintenance team to achieve effective completion of work
- Promate a proactive safety culture within the team and with contractors
Skills and Experience we are looking for:
- Mechanical or Electrical Trade Certificate or a relevant Engineering qualifications desirable
- Supervisory /maintenance knowledge
- Minimum 5 years post trade and 3 years in a similar or supervisory / leadership role
- Financial skills including estimating, budgeting, forecasting, analysis & reporting
- A sound understanding of technical maintenance techniques
- Understanding of production process including technical process and equipment experience
- Experience in shutdown and maintenance planning
- Experience with CMMS, MS project applications and Excel.
