About the role:
We are seeking a well-versed Reliability Engineering Manager to join the Team at our Tasman Mill. Located in the sunny Eastern Bay of Plenty, the Tasman Mill produces for both the local and international markets.
Reporting to the Mill Maintenance Manager, you will provide positive leadership and operational expertise to the Reliability Team, performing data analysis on equipment condition and outages, development, and implementation of leading and lagging reliability indicators to drive and maximise plant productivity and quality, in a safe sustainable manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Uphold our Health and Safety policies and processes, while always promoting safe working practices.
- Lead the reliability maintenance team in providing strategic direction, expertise, and management for maintenance services and technological support.
- Offering technical support and guidance to team members, colleagues, consultants, and units
- Drive continuous improvement in systems, processes, and engineering, including root cause analysis and problem-solving.
- Statute Compliance with HSWA and PECPR.
- Leading the site reliability program including CMMS data improvements, operator and maintainer rounds.
You will bring to the role:
- Expert knowledge and experience with HSWA and PECPR
- A Bachelor of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferably or similar relevant qualification.
- Proven experience in reliability and/or a maintenance engineering role in a complex manufacturing operation.
- Adept in best practice maintenance methodologies, systems and processes.
- Approachable and skilled leader with the ability to motivate and problem solve.
- Knowledge and ability to develop and implement competitive/lean manufacturing techniques.
