We have a unique opportunity for an experienced couple/pair to have joint responsibility looking after a private high-end holiday residence located in a beautiful coastal location in Bay of Islands.
Taking on the position of House Manager and Property Manager, the roles are defined separately but require mutual support and flexibility for the smooth running of the estate. The responsibilities will vary throughout the year and you will need to adapt to changing seasonal needs whilst balancing home and work life.
Responsible for a high standard of cleaning, hosting and guest assistance, the House Manager will actively take care of all daily in-house tasks. The Property Manager will focus on external house maintenance and security together with upkeep of the grounds, swimming pool and operation and maintenance of watercraft and land-based equipment along other general lodge duties as they arise.
The position will suit a dedicated and discreet couple/pair with hands on experience in estate management, luxury accommodation or similar. Accommodation will be provided along with power, internet, work mobile phone, vehicle and a competitive salary.
Additionally, you will have:
- A proactive attitude with strong problem solving ability
- High personal standards of presentation and attention to detail
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Boating and fishing experience (a bonus but not essential)
