We are now recruiting a limited number of Exam Invigilators for the 2025/2026 academic year.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to supporting the integrity of the examination process at AUT. As an Exam Invigilator you will be responsible for ensuring that examinations and Handback/Review Sessions are properly conducted in accordance with the AUT Examination Rules and Regulations and under the direction of the University Examinations Office (UEO) or other academic staff. You must be comfortable working independently, following detailed instructions, and contributing positively within a large and diverse team.
He kōrero mōu | About you
- MUST be available for both morning and afternoon exam sessions on most weekdays, when required, during the below peak periods:
- 29 October to 14 November 2025 and 3 June to 19 June 2026
- Additional sessions may occasionally occur outside these dates
- MUST be able to work across at least two of AUT's campuses - City, North, or South
- Have previous invigilation or teaching/lecturing/administration experience
- Have basic computer skills and be confident using digital tools as required
- Must have a satisfactory level of physical fitness and be able to carry the exam box to the exam room and stand for extended periods
- Must be responsible, reliable, and punctual
- Have strong references and a professional work ethic
