We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to provide high-level, confidential support to the Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Chief Operating Officer within Immigration New Zealand.
This is a pivotal role where your ability to anticipate needs, manage competing priorities, and build trusted relationships will directly contribute to the success of our branch's leadership team and Immigration New Zealand.
In this busy role you will be:
- Managing complex calendars, meetings and travel arrangements for two senior executives
- Handling sensitive communications and correspondence with discretion
- Preparing high-quality communications, reports and briefings
- Coordinating internal and external engagements
- Acting as a liaison between the Chief Operating Officer stakeholders
- Mentoring and guiding other support staff.
Skills and Experience Required
- Proven experience in a senior executive support role
- Strong relationship management and communication skills
- Sound judgement, adaptability and proactive mindset
- Excellent time management, prioritisation and attention to detail
- High levels of integrity, discretion and professionalism
- An understanding of public sector environments an advantage
To be eligible for the role you will need to hold either a New Zealand citizenship or a New Zealand Permanent Resident visa.
