He kupu mō mātou | About us
Established in 1881, our Edendale manufacturing site is New Zealand’s oldest dairy processing site and with 13 plants, we produce 14 million bags of milk powder each year for export and process up to 15 million litres of milk every day in peak season.
Mō tēnei tūranga | About the Opportunity
When our products are ready to ship, we are supported by our team of professional forklift drivers. With safety, customer service and quality at the forefront, their role is crucial in ensuring that we keep our dairy products moving around New Zealand and the world.
We have an exciting opportunity available for a professional forklift operator to join the team at our Edendale DC. You will need to be passionate about what you do, and you will be future focused on making a positive contribution to our business every day.
Key responsibilities include:
- Loading and unloading pallets to ensure they are stored correctly
- Picking/packing and sending products to the correct location efficiently and accurately
- Stock quality management
This is a Monday to Friday Days role, working 4 x 12 hour days with start and finish times from 5am – 5pm (approx.)
Mōu | About You
We’ll offer you a varied role where no two days are the same. You will have a clean drivers license, and ideally you will have:
- An F endorsed forklift license and current OSH Certificate
- Solid forklift experience working in a warehouse or distribution centre environment
- A good dose of physical strength as our products can weigh up to 25kg
- A strong focus on Health and Safety
