Amplifon New Zealand is looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager based at our Support Office in Takapuna.

About the role:

The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager leads the planning, forecasting and budgeting activities of the business. The role supports the Leadership team through providing an understanding of key business drivers enabling decision making to be objective and data driven.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the finance business partnering function within the finance team to support business performance
  • Provide analysis, reporting and insights for the Leadership Team to inform decision making
  • Provide detailed analysis and commentary on business drivers
  • Lead monthly planning, forecasting and annual budget processes
  • Develop tools to automate and create efficiencies in our analytics, partnering with our IT team

Education, experience and skills:
  • Relevant tertiary degree
  • Chartered Accountancy qualification (or equivalent) preferred
  • Proven experience in Management Accounting / Commercial roles
  • Solid foundation of commercial and financial analytical skills, including advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with data analytics tools such as Power BI preferred
  • Confident in determining insights from large data sets, providing commentary and thought leadership in a commercial environment
  • Demonstrates a curious and resilient approach to problem solving
  • People leadership experience preferred
