This is a permanent, full time role (42.5 hours per week) within our Garden Centre and we’re looking for someone who knows their camellias, chrysanthemums and can recommend the right live plants, potting mix, compost, fertilizers, and landscaping products. If you enjoy being outdoors and take pride in your plant knowledge, we’d love to have you on board.
Your daily duties will include:
- Assisting customers with plant selection, gardening advice, and product recommendations.
- Maintaining healthy plant stock and tidy displays.
- Proven experience in horticulture, garden retail, or landscaping is essential.
- Strong product knowledge of live plants, soils, fertilizers or pest control is required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Physical fitness—you’ll be lifting and shifting garden supplies daily.
- Reliability and commitment to late shifts, including Saturdays & Sundays.
- Attention to detail – whether its plant care or product presentation, you take pride in your work.
- Confidence using stock systems and placing orders.
- Forklift license would be an advantage.
