The Downer Wellington team needs a physically fit and motivated person to join our crew and lend a helping hand as a General Labourer within their Planned Maintenance team. This is an entry-level opportunity for people interested in civil infrastructure and roading.
You will be involved in the general operation of machinery as well as day-to-day manual labouring duties. This could include:
- Helping with safe site setup for your crew and the general public
- Ensuring efficient use of materials, supplies and equipment
- Working as part of a cohesive team to deliver to client requirements
Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills
- Class 2 Licence and WTR required
- Flexibility is desirable given you will be required to work shift work
- Civil construction experience desirable
- Enjoy working outdoors and keeping physically fit
- Be reliable and hard working
