He whakamārama mō te tūranga mahi | About the role:
The NZ Railways Staff Welfare Trust is a small charitable trust, established in 1958 to provide support to railway workers and their families. We work alongside our members to provide them with affordable healthcare and holidays. The Trust is looking for a General Manager to lead the organisation.
This opportunity is for an experienced property manager with a track record of success leading continuous improvement and managing relationships. You will have experience in strategic planning, along with financial and operational management. Key to the success of the role is the ability to engage, inspire and drive the performance of a team.
Ngā pukenga e rapu nei mātou | What you will bring:
We are looking for someone special, who ideally has experience in the not-for-profit sector or in a membership organisation. As General Manager you will be responsible for delivering on the Trust’s strategic priorities and for maintaining excellent working relationships with all stakeholders. You will be adaptable, financially literate and adept with reporting and presenting to a Board. The role is varied and one minute you could be answering the phone to deal with a member, and the next working on a property acquisition.
