Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to create digital bespoke learning solutions for client companies. This requires a combination of skills in visual design and user interaction design, with technical aptitude and problem solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will become responsible for:
- Creating screen designs and themed assets (in line with client branding guidelines)
- Developing user-intuitive learning interactions and activities (in line with storyboards)
- Creating digital media using a range of tools for design, audio, video and animation
- Solving technical problems in relation to the development or implementation of eLearning
- Carrying out robust testing of developed solutions
- Following our project methodologies and proactively communicating with Learning Partners
- Creating advertising and marketing collateral as required.
Sample Tasks
During a typical day you might:
- Create screen designs and graphical assets in line with brand guidelines
- Interpret and apply client IT specifications to designs and interactive templates
- Develop eLearning modules using current industry-standard authoring tools and technologies (eg. Articulate Storyline) in line with storyboards
- Conduct dev tests on own eLearning modules before delivering for QC
- Create AI images (eg. using Midjourney) and themed icons using an icon library
- Record and edit audio, and edit video and photographs (eg. using Adobe Creative Suite)
- Create animations using rapid tools (eg. Biteable, Vyond)
- Create illustrations or diagrams, by hand or digitally, for learning journeys or explanations
- Develop other digital learning or performance tools, using html and CSS (if capable)
- Create content and upload to our website using the CMS (Webflow)
- Design printed and digital marketing collateral.
Key Skills and Qualities
Our ideal person would have:
- Strong visual design and layout
- A calm and considered approach to technical problem solving
- An eye for detail and consistency
- A confident and friendly communication style
- Experience with Adobe suite or similar tools for design & illustration, recording & editing audio, editing images & video
- Ability to pick up new software and tools quickly and easily
- An interactive media qualification or a strong portfolio.
It would be a bonus if you had experience or skills with:
- A rapid eLearning authoring tool (eg. Articulate Storyline)
- Html, CSS and Javascript
- A rapid animation tool (eg. Vyond).
It would be ideal if this isn't your first job. We'd love to hear about your previous experience whether it's a part time role as a barista or in retail, any work experience is a plus.
