We currently have a Grocery Operations Manager position available in our Grocery team. To be successful you need a high degree of self-motivation and excellent communication skills. The successful applicant will also have the desire to excel, the ability to use their initiative, lead, coach and drive with enthusiasm to meet the demands of a busy supermarket environment.
You will be responsible for a range of tasks in the grocery department including the restocking of shelves, maintaining the department and ensuring that the department is well presented for our customers throughout the day/evening. Rostering and liaising with other Managers.
This is a full-time role (5 day working week including a weekend day – specific hours and days to be discussed at the interview process)
To be considered for this role, you will need to have proven experience in the following areas:
- Directing and supervising team members.
- Leading, coaching and training new and existing team members.
- Ability to prioritise and flexibility to pivot when required
- Follow and enforce Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Collaboration to assist with other duties/departments as required.
- Good time management – the ability to work within set time-frames.
- Sound knowledge and ability with computers (predominately Excel).
- Forklift License beneficial but not essential.
