Position Title: Handyman
Salary Range: $25.00–$30.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Minimum Guaranteed Hours of Work: 30–40 hours per week

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to carry out a wide range of maintenance, repair, and improvement tasks across our sites, ensuring all areas remain safe, functional, and well-presented.
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
- A minimum of two years’ experience in general maintenance, building repairs, or a similar role; or
- A relevant Level 3 qualification or higher (e.g., NZQF Certificate in Carpentry, Building, or Maintenance).
- Solid skills in basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, and minor electrical repairs.
- Ability to operate a variety of tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good physical fitness to undertake manual work in varying conditions.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety standards.
- Current driver’s licence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general building and equipment maintenance across agricultural facilities.
- Carry out basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical work as needed.
- Conduct inspections and address maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain tools, machinery, and work areas in good condition.
- Assist with the installation, set-up, or removal of fixtures and equipment.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety policies.
- Respond to urgent repairs and operational maintenance requests quickly.
- Support other operational and farm-related tasks as required.
