We're gearing up for our busiest period with summer around the corner and will be employing a Harbour Information Sales Consultant on a fixed term part-time basis. Ideally, you'll be able to start mid-October and work through till approximately the end of March 2026.

About the role
In this a fixed-term, part-time role as Harbour Information Sales Consultant, you will provide a complete retail sales and customer service experience. This will see you capture sales, promote and upsell all Fullers360 products and services, as well as our preferred third-party products to provide our customers with the best possible experience.
This role is based in the Harbour Info Kiosk attached to the main ferry terminal at 99 Quay Street. You'll form part of a team, reporting to the Harbour Information Kiosk Manager.
Due to the nature of the role, it can only be fulfilled onsite as you'll predominantly interact with customers on a face-to-face basis.
About the hours
This is a rostered role which will see you work 4 days per week, including some weekends and some public holidays.
The hours of work are 9am till 2pm, totaling 20 hours per week.
About you
To hit the ground running you’ll hold customer service and sales experience - preferably from travel & tourism, as well as a high level of patience and resilience. You'll hold a good level of maturity with the ability to work under pressure, autonomously and as part of a team.
Being able to work with customers from all walks of life, deal with queries and have robust conversations which are key for success.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in sales (promoting and upselling) and customer service, preferably in travel and tourism
- Good attention to detail and sound decision making skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Someone who is outgoing, bubbly and a team player who will promote a positive atmosphere
- Ability to build and sustain relationships with our customers
- Reliability and a pro-active nature
