We are seeking a kaiako to join Te Whare Huia, the Māori Faculty at Diocesan. Currently there are five kaiako that teach across the Junior and Senior School. You will be joining a passionate team of people who aspire to deliver a quality learning experience for our students.
Job Description
This is 12-month fixed term contract starting at the beginning of the academic year, January 2026. The successful applicant will have the ability to teach Te Reo Māori and Mātauranga Māori in the Senior School, Year 7-13. For a suitably experienced candidate, an additional position of responsibility may be discussed.
Desired Skills and Experience
In addition, they will need to be:
- Passionate about teaching young women
- Committed to ensuring a friendly and supportive environment for learning in keeping within the character of the school
- Able to start Term 1, 2026
