Mō tēnei mahi (About this job)
We are seeking a proactive Kaiāwhina to support our Kaiako in delivering our Te Ara Reo Māori programme within a proactive, supportive, and whānau-based environment. This is a permanent part-time role (15hours per week) based in Kaitaia.
This role also assists the Kaiako in preparing resources and classrooms, monitoring student attendance, supporting tauira learning, administration tasks and student recruitment. You'll need to be available some weekends and evenings for classes and noho.
Mōu (About you)
The successful candidate will bring with them:
- The ability to cconverse in Te Reo Māori.
- Competency in navigating e-learning methods of delivery and systems.
- Confidence using Microsoft software.
- Proven administrative experience.
- Level 4 Te Reo or Tikanga qualifications are advantageous.
