We are seeking an experienced Lead IFS Manufacturing Consultant to support a strategic ERP implementation project for a client in New Zealand. This is a remote role open to candidates based in any of our existing operational regions. The assignment offers the opportunity to influence solution design during the early stages of an IFS Cloud implementation in the make-to-order manufacturing sector.
Location: New Zealand
The consultant will be involved in the Confirm Prototype and Establish Solution phases of the project. The expected duration of the engagement is up to 6 months. The role will require occasional business travel to New Zealand, aligned with key project milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate remote workshops and guide the client through IFS Cloud Manufacturing capabilities,
- Analyze current business processes and define system requirements,
- Act as a trusted advisor to local stakeholders throughout the solution design process,
- Prepare documentation, test scenarios, and support solution configuration,
- Collaborate with the international team to ensure successful delivery and alignment.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in implementing IFS Manufacturing solutions, ideally IFS Cloud,
- Strong understanding of discrete manufacturing processes (production planning, MRP, MES, maintenance, costing, etc.),
- Experience in make-to-order production environments (e.g. furniture or curtain-wall manufacturing),
- Fluent English and the ability to lead client-facing workshops,
- High level of autonomy, professionalism, and ability to work across cultures and time zones,
- Willingness to travel to New Zealand as needed.
