Mō te tūranga | About the Role
We are excited to advertise a Learning Programme Lead to join our Culture, Capability and Learning function. You will report to the Senior Manager Banker Capability and be part of the wider HRC Business Unit.

You will create and implement engaging learning experiences that build core banking capabilities to ensure bankers are knowledge ready, service ready and role ready. Design and deliver targeted training and resources, face-to-face and virtual workshops and programmes that build essential skills and knowledge (technical and behavioural) that customer-facing bankers need to succeed, aligned with business needs developing content for e-learning, virtual and in person workshops, including facilitator and participant resources.
You will work closely with the Product teams and other relevant business stakeholders to keep product related learning accurate and aligned with current Westpac New Zealand’s products and services.

Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?
  • Experience working in a customer-facing or lending role within Westpac New Zealand or the wider financial services ecosystem
  • Understanding of Westpac New Zealand’s Products and services, and Credit frameworks, with experience in developing or delivering foundational role-ready programmes for bankers
  • Proven experience as a learning professional designing and delivering blended learning experiences within a corporate environment
  • Exceptional facilitation skills including delivery of learning programmes at multiple levels of the organisation, both face-to-face and virtual formats
  • Experience working in a customer-facing and/or credit role within Westpac New Zealand or the wider financial services ecosystem
  • Understanding of Westpac New Zealand’s products and services, and credit frameworks, with experience in developing or delivering foundational role-ready programmes for bankers
  • Sound knowledge and experience in the application of adult learning principles
  • Experience in Microsoft Office applications
  • Adult learning certification (preferred)
  • Experience working with a learning management system e.g. entering records and producing reports
