Job Description
Mō te tūranga | About the opportunity
Reporting to the General Counsel, this newly created role is based in our Auckland Support Office in the CBD, with some flexibility to work from home where no two days will be same. You’ll be part of a small legal team and will collaborate with various internal stakeholders (e.g. sales, finance, operations) and our incoming residents and their families.
This role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end settlement processes across a portfolio of Arvida’s communities, preparing and managing settlement documentation for incoming and outgoing residents, collaborating with internal stakeholders on settlement related matters and assisting in reviewing and improving internal settlement processes (including utilising and contributing to the development of technology solutions).
You’ll manage your work independently while having guidance to develop and grow.
Qualifications

You are a delivery-focused legal executive with a high level of integrity, energy and drive. In addition, you will also bring:
4+ years' experience as a Legal Executive, preferably with a blend of in-house and private practice
An understanding of the retirement village regulatory landscape is preferred but not essential
Ability to priortise and manage multiple tasks and deliver work accurately and on time
Strong attention to detail and a high degree of professionalism
Skills in building and maintaining effective working relationships across a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, including residents and their families
