You'll join a close-knit team that values supporting each other and putting safety first. This role offers the unique chance to work across multiple Geothermal Power stations predominantly located around Taupo area, with opportunities to gain exposure to Hydro power stations along the Waikato River. While you may be primarily aligned to one fuel type, you'll be expected to work across both, gaining experience in a range of generation environments. You'll have the opportunity to share your expertise and skills with others, and carry out routine maintenance to ensure our units consistently generate electricity to meet demand. Work alongside passionate colleagues and be provided with all the necessary tools and equipment to excel in your role.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Execution of scheduled planned maintenance
  • Identify, share, and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collect and document plant performance and maintenance history
  • Champion a world class attitude to health and safety management

Tā mātou e kimi nei | We are looking for:

  • Electrical Registration and current Practicing Licence are essential
  • Experience in electrical maintenance within a power generation environment is a strong advantage
  • Experience in plant operations, process control or maintenance experience in a manufacturing or heavy process industry
  • Understanding and knowledge of business practices, including exposure to work controls (permit to work) and computerised maintenance management software (CMMS) an advantage
