You should have experience in most of the following areas:

  • Executive advisory
  • Technology strategy and roadmap development
  • Reviews of technology and digital functions, possibly associated with mergers, acquisitions and divestments
  • Business system Implementation scoping, design, and approval processes from idea through to business case approval and project delivery
  • Technology operating model and organisation design
  • Strategic sourcing and procurement of technology solutions (hardware and/or software)
  • Enterprise architecture experience and the ability to provide strategic guidance on the current and future state of their technology landscape
  • Transformation delivery including business case development and value realisation
  • Technology programme design, IQA and recovery

You will also need to:

  • Manage advisory engagements for clients including resources (internal and client resources), budgets, scope, and deliverables
  • Provide people leadership and coaching
  • Drive business development/sales

Qualifications

Enough about us, let’s talk about you. You are someone with:

  • 5+ years (Manager) in consulting, advisory and/or professional services environment
  • Experience providing services to clients at all levels on business transformation - advisory, business analysis, estimation/costing, solution proposal and/or vendor/technology selection procurement processes.
  • Good knowledge of technology and enterprise architecture concepts through practical experience and knowledge of technology trends, e.g., Mobility, Cloud, Digital etc.
  • Strong understanding of the technology organisation/function (e.g. core IT operations, ITIL/ITSM concepts etc)
  • Exposure to a range of enterprise technology systems and solutions (ERP/HRIS/FMIS/CRM/BI etc)
  • Demonstrable capability to be self-managing and results focused
  • Confident at solving ambiguous problems, ability to break down complex problems
  • Ability to structure thoughts in a logical flow with appropriate storytelling skills (e.g. Steering Committee and Board packs, final reports etc)
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to research and analyse complex technology-related topics
  • Experience facilitating workshops and translating findings into a structured summary
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

As a manager you are also someone with:

  • Business development and sales experience with proven results
  • Leadership skills and experience to drive quality outcomes
