About the Role
Due to internal promotions, we are seeking two Mechanical Maintenance Engineers to join our Facilities and Pulp Teams. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of our mechanical systems.
In a typical day, you will:
- Scope, plan, and schedule preventative and corrective maintenance activities
- Oversee contractor performance to ensure quality and timely delivery
- Align maintenance execution with broader asset management strategies
- Investigate and resolve mechanical issues to prevent recurrence
- Support shutdowns and outage maintenance projects to enhance reliability and performance
This is a role where your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will directly contribute to the success of our operations.
About You
We are seeking a results-driven professional with a Mechanical Engineering qualification and proven experience in large-scale manufacturing, industrial, or power generation environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in asset integrity and maintenance management, with strong proficiency in Maintenance Management Systems such as SAP, as well as MS Excel and MS Project. Success in this role requires excellent interpersonal skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to plan and manage complex maintenance programs effectively a continuous operational setting.
