  • Permanent Position - 32 Hours per Week

This is a permanent role working 4 days per week (32 hours) between Monday and Friday, with rostered hours falling between 7:30am and 5:30pm.

About the position and you:

As a Medical Receptionist/Administrator, you will report to the Medical Centre Manager and will enjoy exposure to the following and more:

  • Greeting and checking in patients on arrival
  • Liaising with patients and the public both in-person and over phone/email
  • Answering incoming telephone calls
  • Booking appointments
  • Invoicing and collecting patient fees
  • General administrative support
  • Cash handling

You will bring to the role:

  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Customer service excellence
  • Proficient computer and IT literacy
  • Experience in administration (medical preferred but not required)
  • Friendly, professional, and reliable approach
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a busy environment
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience with NZ Practice Management Systems (desirable)

The successful applicant will be methodical, systems-oriented, and confident with both numbers and people.
