About the roles
We’re hiring Modern Desktop Engineers and Senior Engineers to deliver seamless user experiences and expert technical support across Vector.
Modern Desktop Engineer
You’ll be a hands-on problem solver, providing top-tier customer service and managing devices, software provisioning, and support for end-user tools. Key responsibilities include:
- TechPoint walk-up support
- Meeting room checks and support
- VIP support for executive users
- Ticket queue management and documentation
- Hardware stock and asset tracking
- Knowledge sharing and process improvement
Senior Modern Desktop Engineer
As a Senior Engineer, you’ll lead technical troubleshooting, mentor junior staff, and contribute to strategic projects. Responsibilities include:
- Escalation point for complex issues
- Ownership of endpoint policies and workplace tools
- Project delivery and transition to BAU
- Mentorship and ticket quality leadership
- Driving automation and continuous improvement
- Backup support for frontline operations
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for experienced desktop engineers with:
- Strong knowledge of Windows/macOS and emerging desktop tech
- Experience with endpoint management tools (e.g., SCCM, Intune, NinjaOne)
- PowerShell scripting proficiency
- Understanding of desktop security principles
- Experience with Microsoft Teams meeting room systems
- Relevant degree or certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate)
Senior candidates will also have:
- Proven leadership and mentoring experience
- Success in project delivery and process improvement
- Familiarity with ITIL and incident/change management
