We are currently seeking qualified and experienced Motor Mechanics to join our dedicated team who will be responsible for the following duties:
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using both manual and computerised diagnostic tools.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, steering, exhausts, and cooling systems.
- Conduct routine servicing including oil changes, fluid checks, battery tests, and filter replacements.
- Carry out road testing to assess vehicle performance post-repairs.
- Dismantle and reassemble engines and mechanical components as required.
- Interpret workshop manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Advise customers on repair needs, timeframes, and costs.
- Maintain accurate job cards and service records.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
The candidate will be required to work at least 30 hours per week and be paid between $30 to $35 per hour.
Other important requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience or a minimum relevant Level 4 Certificate
- Available to work on weekends
