About the Role
Location: Marsden Point Port
Status: Monday to Friday 9 hour shifts with callout availability plus weekends when required
Your job duties would be:
- Maintain, repair, and prepare gearstore equipment for shipping cargo operations.
- Perform safety checks and ensure compliance with health and safety protocols.
- Manage inventory, coordinate equipment delivery and recovery, and keep the gearstore tidy and operational.
- Liaise with suppliers, operational teams, and maintenance staff to meet equipment needs.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance, timesheets, and equipment requests.
You will also need:
- Level 3 Trade Certificate (minimum).
- Mechanical engineering experience
- Welding Experience
- Physically fit and comfortable working both independently and in a team.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Willingness to take on varied tasks and upskill through training.
- Full driver’s licence and reliable transport.
