Due to continuous growth, our Remanufacturing Department in Kennington is seeking a hardworking individual to join our cutline department nightshift. This is working with automated machinery in the value add processing of timber, and is best suited to those with mechanical aptitude, a passion for learning and an eye for detail.
The hours of work will be Monday - Thursday 4pm - 2:30am, plus overtime as required at the end of the shift.
We are seeking an individual who is reliable, adaptable, physically fit, and brings a positive attitude to work each evening. Comprehensive training and ongoing support are provided to help you succeed. Our priority is to build a dependable, purpose-driven team that supports one another. Experienced team members are enthusiastic about sharing their knowledge and helping new team members thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Machine operation with limited manual handling
- Active involvement in production lines
- Setting up and running machinery in the cutline department
- Performing quality control checks
- Maintaining equipment and workspace
Requirements:
- Excellent health and safety awareness
- A great team player with a positive attitude
- Full driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and full medical examination, including a practical assessment
- Great recent references and a consistent work history
